Job Role: Service Information Developer 1
Job Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Automobile/Electrical engineering or equivalent accredited associate degree
Experience: Maximum 1 year for Bachelor’s degree holders or 2 to 3 years for associate degree holders
Service Information Developer 1 Detailed Eligibility:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Automobile/Electrical engineering or equivalent accredited associate degree.
- Maximum 1 year of experience for Bachelor’s degree holders or 2 to 3 years for associate degree holders.
- Experience in Servicing/Maintenance/Troubleshooting/Technical writing in the Earth moving industry or equivalent.
- Preference for candidates with experience in Caterpillar machines or systems.
- Knowledge in reading and interpreting Engineering drawings, schematics.
- Experience in 3D modeling tools is preferred.
- Good mechanical/electrical aptitude, customer focus, initiative, planning & organizing skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Required Software skills: SGML, Epic editor, Canvas, Coral draw, Pro-E/Creo, Vismockup, Adobe illustrator CS3, SAP VEA 8.0, Canvas 9, Canvas 14.
Job Description:
- Utilize the ACM (Advanced content management) system to develop and electronically author service information for Caterpillar equipment.
- Support both new and non-current product design.
- Ensure significant impact on the efficiency and profitability of dealer service operations.
- Continuous interaction with Project leaders and Product design support Engineers.
- Use a variety of corporate systems and resources.
