Thomson Reuters Hiring Associate Software Engineer 2023

Job Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

Job Type: Full-time, Hybrid

Qualification: Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience with a strong foundation in OO design patterns and concepts. Proficiency in Python, Groovy, Scala, and Angular scripting is required.

Experience: Experience in cloud concepts and familiarity with AWS capabilities is preferred. Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies is essential.

Detailed Eligibility:

  • Very strong in OO design patterns and concepts.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, Groovy, and/or Scala.
  • Strong in Angular scripting.
  • Good understanding of cloud concepts.
  • Working knowledge of some AWS capabilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.

Job Description:

  • Develop high-quality code in Python and work with XML content.
  • Write Lambdas for AWS Step functions and adhere to best practices for development.
  • Come up with functional unit test cases and actively participate in code reviews.
  • Work with different AWS capabilities and understand integration points of upstream and downstream processes.
  • Learn new frameworks needed for implementation and maintain Agile/Scrum dashboards for task tracking.
