Thomson Reuters Hiring Associate Software Engineer 2023
Job Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
Job Type: Full-time, Hybrid
Qualification: Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience with a strong foundation in OO design patterns and concepts. Proficiency in Python, Groovy, Scala, and Angular scripting is required.
Experience: Experience in cloud concepts and familiarity with AWS capabilities is preferred. Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies is essential.
Detailed Eligibility:
- Very strong in OO design patterns and concepts.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Groovy, and/or Scala.
- Strong in Angular scripting.
- Good understanding of cloud concepts.
- Working knowledge of some AWS capabilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
Job Description:
- Develop high-quality code in Python and work with XML content.
- Write Lambdas for AWS Step functions and adhere to best practices for development.
- Come up with functional unit test cases and actively participate in code reviews.
- Work with different AWS capabilities and understand integration points of upstream and downstream processes.
- Learn new frameworks needed for implementation and maintain Agile/Scrum dashboards for task tracking.
