Thomson Reuters Hiring Associate Software Engineer 2023

Job Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

Job Type: Full-time, Hybrid

Qualification: Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience with a strong foundation in OO design patterns and concepts. Proficiency in Python, Groovy, Scala, and Angular scripting is required.

Experience: Experience in cloud concepts and familiarity with AWS capabilities is preferred. Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies is essential.

Detailed Eligibility:

Very strong in OO design patterns and concepts.
Strong proficiency in Python, Groovy, and/or Scala.
Strong in Angular scripting.
Good understanding of cloud concepts.
Working knowledge of some AWS capabilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure.

Job Description:

Develop high-quality code in Python and work with XML content.
Write Lambdas for AWS Step functions and adhere to best practices for development.
Come up with functional unit test cases and actively participate in code reviews.
Work with different AWS capabilities and understand integration points of upstream and downstream processes.
Learn new frameworks needed for implementation and maintain Agile/Scrum dashboards for task tracking.
