Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or another quantitative field with 0 to 2 years’ experience or in lieu of a degree, a high school certificate and additional 2 years of work experience
- Desired Skills/Knowledge: Working Knowledge on SQL/SAS/Python to perform data manipulation
Required Skills/Knowledge:
- Academic knowledge of SQL / SAS /Open Source concepts, ability to write and execute queries
- Basic Understanding of Core Concepts / Metrics in Retail Finance
- Ability to articulate analysis outcomes into findings and recommendations
Role Summary/Purpose:
- Analyst , Analytics (individual contributor) role is a part of India Analytics Hub (IAH) . The role will include understanding the request of the business , Extract , transform , validate and visualize large data to address project delivery enabling Synchrony’s growth and profitability. The model candidate must be passionate about data & analytics , knows the story and keen on learning new technologies. This position is remote, where you have the option to work from home
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage Data and Analytical tools to create and track metrics which reflect state of the business
- Triangulate and analyze data from multiple sources to draw insights and make recommendations to fulfil business/project objectives
- Adherence to timely delivery, accuracy and documentation in line with Audit Procedures
